The autobiography of Kain who was the most famous Alpine Club of Canada guide. He guided the first ascent of Mt. Robson in 1913 and relates climbs in the Alps, Canada, and New Zealand. Neate K01.
Loucks, Charles L. (1932 – 1976) – Former chairman of the AAC NY section and a serious collector of Alpine literature. He climbed extensively in the Gunks, but also ranged from the Alps to the Brooks Range, the Canadian Rockies to the Wind Rivers. He died in a fall in the Tetons.
