Trudna Góra Rakaposhi

Account of the 1979 Polish-Pakistani expedition to Rakaposhi. This was only the second ascent of the mountain, following the 1958 British ascent, and was done via a new route. It was also the first women’s ascent with the two Polish women climbing alone to the summit, thus making the second highest ‘ladies-only’ climb after that of Gasherbrum II in 1975.
