In 1936, Colijn led the Royal Netherlands Geographical Society-sponsored expedition to Carstenz Pyramid. He, along with two companions, made the first ascent of Ngga Pulu which was thought to be the highest point due to the thick glacier ice covering. Upon later recession of the glacier it was discovered that this was not the highest point of the range. This copy is signed by Dozy, one of the three climbers. An important work in the climbing history of this Seventh Summit. In Dutch, no English translation.
