A very nicely done English translation that details the 1997-98 crossing of Antarctica by Belgium's Alain Hubert and Dixie Dansercoer. The pair ski-sailed across the continent from the coast of Dronning Maud Land to Ross Island via the South Pole. Their 3,924-km journey lasted 99 days during which they average almost forty kilometres per day using parasails for much of the trip, on one occasion travelling an impressive 271 km in a single day!
