Text states "Broad Peak - From the South Rib of K2 - The original route of ascent was up the hanging glaciers and snow slopes on the right. The Godwin-Austen Glacier meets the Abruzzi and Vinge Glaciers at Concordia on the right, with the prominent peaks of Chogolisa, K6 and K7 in the background." A beautiful view looking across at Broad Peak and down onto the Concordia region.
Doug Scott is one of Britain's most accomplished mountaineers. He has reached the summit of some 40 peaks, including Everest and Kangchenjunga. His first ascent of Everest’s southwest face in 1975 with Dougal Haston is a great story. Half of Doug climbs were first ascents and all were climbed by new routes or for the first time in Alpine style. We have a number of nice Himalaya posters from Doug’s photo archives and all are hand-signed by Doug.
