Brooks, and party, undertook an exploratory journey in 1902 from the Pacific seaboard through the Alaska Range along the northwest base of McKinley to the Tanana and Yukon Rivers. The first 20 pages is a narrative of the expedition, as well as a history of previous expeditions. The remainder is composed of their geologic observations. An important early work on the McKinley region. Originally bound in paper wrappers this copy is now in brown cloth. Scarce.
