Grošelj is one of the most successful Slovenian alpinists who has, to date, climbed ten of the 8,000m peaks - Everest, K2, Kanchenjunga, Makalu, Lhotse, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum II, Cho Oyu, Shishapangma, and Manaslu. He uses skis on many of his expeditions and has done numerous trips in the Arctic.
