This is primarily a photo book derived from Naar’s lectures using his mountaineering achievements to illustrate the parallels between reaching the highest summits and being successful in business. The common themes in his lectures are the lessons learned during his expeditions: the setting of clear objectives, effective teamwork, and how to inspire one’s team. Naar has climbed the Seven Summits, K2, and made extensive trips in the polar regions. This includes chapters on his ascents of Everest (1992), K2 (1995), and his ski to the South Pole (1998/99). Naar has written 13 books, this is the first to be published in English.
