Edward (Teddy) Evans (1881-1957) was a British naval officer and Antarctic explorer. He served as second officer on the Morning, the relief ship of Captain Scott’s first Antarctic expedition (1901-04), and as second-in-command of Scott’s ill-fated Terra Nova expedition to the South Pole (1910-13). After Scott’s tragic death, Evans took over command of the expedition. His book ‘South with Scott’ was published in 1921. Uncommon.
