Pritzker summitted Everest in 2009 via the South East Ridge as a member of the Eco Everest Expedition 2009 led by Asian Trekking. Prior to this expedition he had trips to his native Caucasus, the Cascades, Grand Teton, Rainier, Peru, Mount Hunter, Mount Shasta, Denali, the Alps, and other peaks. Pritzker describes his 2007 expedition to Denali and then presents a detailed account of both his preparations for and experiences on Everest.
