A marvelous, superbly illustrated, publication produced to accompany the Fram Museum’s exhibition on Scott, initially created in 2012 and shown several times since. It contains the stories of the Southern Party, the Northern Party and ‘The Worst Journey in the World’, as well as Herbert Ponting’s iconic photographs. In addition Riffenburgh has also written an article discussing the topic of Science and the Pole on the Terra Nova Expedition. Edward Evans’ lecture on the expedition from the Royal Geographic Society in 1913 is also included.
