A beautifully illustrated work covering the Mont Blanc range. Leather bound copies are uncommon.

In 1926, at age 16, Brad Washburn traveled to Europe and spent two weeks exploring the peaks about Chamonix, making the Charmoz-Grépon traverse, and summitting Mont Blanc, Monte Rosa, and the Matterhorn. He returned the following summer and made several first and second ascents among the Aiguilles of Charmonix. For his climbs he became only the second American to become a member of the merit-based Guide de Haute Montagne (G.H.M.). Undoubtedly, this book would have meant much to him in reliving the peaks he explored. This woud be a nice companion to Brad’s own book ‘Among the Alps with Bradford’. In French, no English translation. This book weighs four pounds.
